Designing a mobile-first AI communication hub to combat lead fragmentation and agent burnout.

SaaS

SellSwift is an all-in-one AI-powered solution to streamline business communications. The journey began when Red Dot Innovative's leadership, guided by client insights, recognised key challenges businesses faced in customer communication.

//What I did

I worked on designing a mobile & web app for sales agents aimed at helping them quickly manage business inquiries, convert them into leads, and close deals efficiently. The app provided a simple and powerful tool that allowed sales agents to stay on top of inquiries on the go, enabling them to focus more on building relationships and less on paperwork.

// Sales team struggle

Sales agents drowned in scattered inquiries from email, social media, and calls. Disconnected tools and mountains of paperwork made converting leads a daily struggle, hindering focus on what truly matters: closing deals

// Solution

// Outcomes

The app transformed sales team productivity by shifting focus from paperwork to relationship building. Agents can now manage their complete sales pipeline mobile-first, resulting in faster response times and improved client engagement.

// My Journey Designing SellSwift…

With a tight 6-week timeline and limited budget, I needed to be strategic about research. I have decided to do following things to create new experience.

// Understanding the opportunity

Designing SellSwift began with one goal—figure out what sales teams actually needed. As the solo designer, I partnered closely with product managers, using their insights to guide our understanding. With limited resources, I built a lean research process that blended quick studies and internal feedback to uncover the real problems worth solving.

Through this research phase, following critical insights emerged that justified the need for SellSwift:

These foundational insights revealed a clear opportunity to create an affordable, mobile-first, AI-enhanced sales platform that could automate routine tasks while providing sales teams with the flexibility to work from anywhere without breaking their budget.

// Strategic Feature Planning

Based on the six opportunity insights, I developed a comprehensive feature strategy that balanced user needs with technical feasibility and business constraints. Working closely with product managers, I translated abstract user problems into concrete, actionable features.

I used a systematic approach to prioritize features based on:

// Mapping User Flows & IA

To design a smooth experience, I first mapped out the user flow of sales agent activity to understand how users will interact with the app.

// Conceptualization Prototyping & Testing

With user flows in place, I began designing wireframes. Red Dot Innovative aimed for a quick launch, so I adjusted my process to meet time constraints. After conceptualisation, I created the first draft of designs, built prototypes, and sent them for feedback and internal QC testing.

The initial designs went through several user tests, discussions with managers, marketing and business teams to ensure we all are on one track. With the feedbacks from all stakeholders I finalise the designs.

// Learnings

Simplicity demands complexity. Creating intuitive experiences required extensive behind-the-scenes work. True simplicity comes from making deliberate choices about what to include, not cutting corners.

Iteration compounds impact. Continuous refinement based on available feedback created more value than pursuing perfection upfront
